We Only Get One

"Body positivity hasn’t always been my thing. As a teenager, I hid my bulimia for four years before I told a soul. A messed up relationship with my body of hatred and shame.
Fast forward to 16 months into motherhood and I have the utmost admiration for my body.
She’s not just an object to be crafted and looked at. She’s a creator. I’m thankful for her. I’m constantly amazed by her strength. I cherish the life she’s given me and my beautiful son. Now I’m determined to nourish her, praise her, no matter what she looks like.
We only get one, and I love mine."
