Begun to Accept

Nude female portrait painted in watercolor

"It has only been within the last year that I have really begun to accept and love my body. It’s crazy to think about the amount of mental and physical pain that I put on myself as a young thirteen-year-old girl.

My body was not like the other girls, no boys liked me and that flappy skin underneath my arms just never seemed to disappear. All of these things and more took over my thoughts, controlling my every move.

But all for what? Absolutely nothing.

I have learned over the years that confidence is the sexiest thing someone can exude, you must love yourself before you can love others. If you are reading this and feel as though you're not good enough because your body may be a bit different from those around you, just remember that we are meant to be different. What a boring world it would be if we were all the same size! Whether you’re a pear-shaped princess, an hourglass gal or an apple-shaped angel - love what ya got because we are only here for one life ❤️🤷‍♀️💪🏽"
