As if It Was Another Woman's

"I don’t appreciate my body as much as I would like to. I follow so many accounts and women on Instagram that embrace their bodies. And I find their bodies so beautiful and love every shape I’m shown.
But some days when I look at myself in the mirror and don’t accept my body, I remind myself that I could be one of those women. On these days I try to look at my body as it was another woman’s, and suddenly I find beauty in all the things I wouldn’t accept a couple of seconds before.
My body is my vessel, and without it I would only be a spirit. I wouldn’t able to do things. Run, cry, dance, or shop at my favorite secondhand store. So, this is a tribute to my body and a big fat THANK YOU to it – for always having (and being) my back".
